Always keeping a lookout for new technology relating to face reading, a dear friend sent the following information to me regarding a face reading ‘App’.

1. Facial features and their associated meaning – the eyelids.

Here we continue our brief overview of facial features and their associated meaning.  This month we discuss eyelids. Who would have thought to pay much attention to eyelids when looking at a person’s face?  Every detail of a face has information to reveal!  The eyelids represent protection of material and emotional security.

The upper eyelid represents material protection while the lower lid reflects the impact the parenting received in early developmental years.

Now I invite you to look back through the archives of the Face of the Month page on my website.  Even though you have studied these faces on previous occasions – do you notice additional insights applying this new information?   .

2. More on facial features – the ears

What information could possibly be ‘read’ from ears?   Quite a lot, actually.  I’m sure you have noticed that some people have ears that hug their head while others have ears that might be described as ‘protruding’.  Other ear traits you may have noticed may include the shape and thickness of the ear, characteristics of the earlobe, appearance of the rims of the ears, and even ear colouration . . . each revealing more detailed information about the amount of openness, receptivity and sensitivity as well as the person’s deep patterns of taking in knowledge.

The upper third of the ear reflects the nature and development of the individual’s intellect; the middle third reflects the person’s ability to communicate, coordinate and cooperate while the lower third of the ear reflects the individual’s relationship to the physical domain.

Consistent with the ‘social mask’ (right face) and ‘private self’ (left face), the person’s right ear deals with external sensitivity while their left ear shows the amount of self-attunedness and self-awareness the person has.  .

3. Glenna’s reading of the September 2013 Face of the Month

Lamar_Odom_Sept_fomAs with the face of August, the face featured in September has an obvious difference between the two horizontal halves of this face.  Using only the personality profiling tool, this face reveals internal conflict within the individual.  Included amongst his character strengths are a generous nature, fun-loving and charismatic optimism, skilful, intuitive and strong leadership traits.  Traits that add to the inner turmoil include competence anxiety, a tendency to be out-of-touch and/or ambivalent about relationships, fun-loving and self-defeating / self-sabotaging.

For those studying personality programmes:  ORD, AYM, PANG (left or ‘private’ side only) and SLIM (right or ‘public’ side only)

4. FAQ’s – “What feature or whatever would be the one thing to look out for / be aware of?

Glenna replies – Each of us are drawn to different aspects of a face – some to the eyes, some to the mouth, some to the hair on (or surrounding) the face, etc.  It is my belief and personal experience that the eyes reveal the most information about an individual, displaying information about how they are feeling in the moment as well as their deep-seated beliefs, emotions and view of the world.

Michael (What’s In A Face – The ‘Dictionary’ for Heart-Centered Face Reading) describes the eyes as ‘the soul’s camera’ and as such they are the connecting point between the individual and the world.  I like to think of the eyes as ‘insight’ into a person as well as ‘outsight’ from the person’s perspective.”
